Mike Lane is the Chief of Police for Bells ISD. He is also the Region 10 Director of the Texas School Districts Police Chiefs’ Association. Previous to SBLE, Chief Lane retired as a Captain of the Lewisville Police Department after 26 years of service.
Chief Lane is a staff operations referee with the NRA’s Law Enforcement Activities Division. In this capacity, he travels the nation conducting role-based scenario training and competition events for police and military personnel. He is a staunch advocate for creating realistic, data-driven emergency response plans and modeling training programs to meet these expectations.
