About me
A former classroom teacher, Megan DeWolfe is now the Director of Government Affairs in Frisco ISD, one of the largest districts in the state of Texas. In her role at Frisco ISD, Megan has been able to create a culture of awareness among staff, students and parents regarding legislative activity in her community and with other school districts across the state. She co-founded the NTX Public School's Legislative Network to provide free resources through workshops and conferences to more than 150 districts statewide.
In her role as a private citizen, Megan has consulted on several candidate campaigns and local ballot measures affecting public schools, run several non-partisan political action committees in support of public education, and founded a local non-profit, get-out-the-vote organization aimed at increasing civic engagement among educators. She is passionate about increasing awareness and understanding of the legislative process, how that affects our public schools, and the most effective way for educators to engage.
